The Dance Studio

Located on the second floor overlooking the swimming pool and main gardens, Liongate's professional dance studio offers a unique space to rehearse your first dance, choreograph a ballroom routine, or host a dance social.  Equipped with a piano and  accessible sound system, the studio also lends itself for performance and vocal instruction. Whatever your performative need or desire may be, the studio can be rented on an hourly basis.  It equally serves as Liongate Manor’s multipurpose room.

The studio is outfitted with a sprung mahogany dance floor measuring  22’ X  42’, mirrored walls, its own private staircase entrance, a patio resting area, and an adjacent single restroom.  It has high beamed ceilings allowing for all adagio, an excellent lighting system, full air conditioning,  and heating capabilities. It also has the ability to power both 110 and 220 voltage equipment.

As a multipurpose facility it boasts a diverse history of uses, serving as a small theatre, a chapel for religious services (approximate 100 seat capacity), a changing/wardrobe room for actors and models on film shoots, an arts and crafts room, and a lecture hall. During weddings it has been used as the groomsmen private lounge and/or staging area for the photographers.

The “Studio” is a wonderful large empty space that you can fill with your imagination.
